So its slight of hand, all cards in deck were signed on back, when he asks howy for his card, he pulls all cards out face up, and flips over howys card, then fans them out revealing the back side wirh signature.

@joshjordan395 Have you ever seen Pen and Teller? That's exactly how he did this one. If you watch back, you can see his finger placement is very specific to flip the car before he gets to it. He also positions himself in a way where they can never see the back sides of the cards. Otherwise, they would see all have the signature.

my guess, there are many “page 70”s at the start in that book part at the start. that begin with “eat”. handing the three letters isn’t that hard. then memorise the fifty shades and dictionary bits, thrown in a little storytelling and distract with dirty jokes. the art is in the storytelling,

@@9tailjeza That would make sense. Also, I don't get the logic behind her numbers. She could ask for page 17 in the novel for all cases, then turn to page 330 line 7 in the dictionary.

The trick in all "stop me whenever you want" book pages trick is that the page number is always pre-chosen and the person falsely believes he/she is actually choosing the page number. She only needed to remember the word "eat" most likely. How she did the rest, I cannot say.

Prob all pages in the first book start with the word “eat” and the page numbers are repeated. only so many options and she memorized them

But he said which ones are we burning? She said, we’re burning the faces. Then he asked Sofia if we’re burning men or women? When you think about the only 4 possible chances he gave to Simon, he’s not going to try to draw a club or a spade, so he’ll be picking from a heart or diamond, & the (Magic Mike?) knows that Simon is alpha so he’s going to pick a diamond over a heart. So he’s set this up knowing: - Heidi isn’t likely to burn the numbers. Simon or Howie might, but not Heidi or Sophia. - Sophia is going to choose to burn men, & keep women. She’s a very confident woman & wont choose to burn them over the men. - Simon knows it’s too hard to draw a virtual club or spade over a heart or diamond. Because he’s an alpha male, he’ll pick a diamond, and the guy is watching his eye movements trying to figure out how to hand signal it. You wouldn’t do that with a heart, it’s too easy, his reaction time would be much quicker in deciding, or more so that reaction time is going to let the guy know he’s trying to figure out which one is less common (heart being most common), & if he’s taking a little bit of time to think, then he’s chosen the diamond over the heart. Simon isn’t going to hand draw a heart on national TV. So at the end, he burns their choices. All he really did was play into their genders & personality traits, observe their eye movements & reaction time. He dresses it up with this invisible deck, which is common hand sleighting. He told Howie to put anything he wanted on that invisible card. Think about what you would think of with a few seconds to react? Do you pick…a tree? Or something personal to you, the first thing you can think of to draw? Your signature. He knows that from looking online, & the rest is just sleight / fast hand movements. He dressed it up to look really good, but if you are someone who is professionally trained in reading people, observing eye movement, body language, reaction time, & a relatively fool proof 50/50 card trick at best, this is actually one of the worst demonstrations of mentalism that I’ve ever seen. I’m not saying he’s not a good entertainer. I’m not saying I could perform it like him. I’m simply saying it’s actually quite simple in concept, that he almost can’t lose.

@@CC_Babblecockman your description made me laugh... where did you get all this from? It's magician's choice, simple as that. Whichever each of them pick, he just continues the story to make it fit. She picked faces and not numbers... he shouldn't have asked her which she wants to burn, just to pick. So really the numbers just got left behind, the way he did it. Whichever the next chose, the choice for Simon would always be which of the four ladies is he saving. It's not at all that he knew this one would pick men or women. And whichever Simon picked, he simple took the one he needed from his pocket. That's why he had the paper clip on it... gave him an excuse to reach into his pocket. Also might have had two suits on each card since he only showed half of the card.

When I hear it, I’m left literally yelling at my tv “JUST GET ON WITH IT THEN!!!” 😆😆😆. I just wish they were more like Shin Lim in his early days on Penn & Teller’s “Fool Us” show where we didn’t see or hear him say anything before Alyson introduced him… It was kind of like a “silent assassin” approach which I loved as he let his skills do the talking for him 👍😁

Yeah that one was so obvious, I was like, my god. Is his whole routine based on that? Yep. It's always like that though with those mentalist prediction ones. Like obviously it's a forced selection if you already had the word written on your body or prerecorded etc. would have been cooler if he did some sleight of hand to apply the pictures discreetly so that it wasn't so obvious the stand was the prop.

That's exactly how the trick works.. he is trying to save the he already had in the box..

Yeah it's called magicians choice. If she said numbers, then those get burnt. Because she said faces, he changes the patter to be ok, now which of those are we burning and then saving... just like if the other one said women, then he'd ask Simon which woman he wants to save. Simon gets the same question either way.

Listen carefully he told what you wanna burn she says faces and now he wanted to say out of all the faces which you wanna burn

Yeah it's called magician's choice. He forced the decisions to go his way no matter what. So he set it up as ok, now which face are we saving... it would have been better for him if she said numbers of course, cause then it would match. What he should have done is just let her choose face or number... and if she says faces, then "ok we're saving the faces for now, numbers are burnt", and if she said number, then "ok all numbers are burnt".
