She was not nervous my friend she's been performing for the last 9 years on some very big stages. It was all part of her professional acting making America think she does not know what she's doing and just starting out in magic. I've been following her since the very beginning her magic is not even on par with the two previous winners that were magicians

Exactly she wanted to make everyone feel like this is the first time she's ever done magic when in fact she's been doing magic for 9 years! She is much more of an actress than a magician. It's a major disappointment that she lied to the judges and America saying she could not afford a dog when she's already a multi-millionaire.

Below is my guess. The director cut away to the judges or audience to hide some important sleight of hand moments. When the camera should move away was 99% coordinated with the producers when designing and approving the act. First Anna showed them that the cards are mixed to get their trust. But she doesn't shuffle the deck since she knows the position of the four cards (and has likely placed small markings on them). She basically hands them the cards she wants subtly. She pretends that she thought the card she wants is the card the judge selected, and then pushes the card she wants forward. (this might not work against a challenging skeptic, but most people want to have fun rather than start arguments so they'll accept it) When she tells Howie to sign the card, she turns her back and she takes her time to 'shuffle' the deck; she is specifically positioning Simon's and Sofia's cards to be at the bottom. For Simon's card: You can't make a card fly from the middle of the deck with a pinch; when you flick a card it is either at the bottom or top of the deck, and Anna already placed Simon's card at the bottom. She slightly shuffles some cards at the top which doesn't affect the cards at the bottom. She properly did a controlled shuffle to position Howie's card at the top for easy retrieval later (he already placed it close to the top position). For Sofia's card: At the bottom of the deck is Sofia's card followed by a decoy card in reverse position. And Anna takes out both cards from the bottom while only showing us one side which is the decoy facing forward; the other side has Sofia's card facing forward. You can use a couple of fingers to flip the two cards, and use shaking motion to disguise that flip. Then the decoy card is subtly returned to the deck (camera cuts away). For Heidi's card: Properly a card swallowing technique. She knew what card to target. She used hidden pockets to switch the deck with a blank deck when everyone was distracted by the Queen of Covid and in surprise (the camera conveniently cuts away), and she also retrieved Howie's card. For Howie's card: She can't prepare a copy of the signed card, so there is a hidden slot under the plate of the cake to shove Howie's card in. Her opportunity was either lifting the plate or walking towards the judges (the camera conveniently cut away). She confirms that she forced the cards she wants all along for an extra surprise.

she's not good at improv, or comedy. so that's all she could think up on the spot. anna is also bi. she's just annoyed because that was the second time the judges messed her up. it had nothing to do with sofia's intelligence.

In reality it is a performance that has flaws on all sides. Both from the management of the audience and the entire scene behind the proposed effects. The first rule of the magician that is always violated is NOT TO SHOW MANUAL SKILL, this rule is promptly violated . Doing useless tricks like those initial flourishes that make people think you're skilled with your hands... From my point of view, he has no idea how to construct a magical performance.

It was so obvious! I couldn’t believe how easy it was to figure out all of her tricks…. Even kid magicians had better tricks than her that I couldn’t figure out. This just seemed too amateur as if she just studied the first few tricks in “Magic 101 for Beginners” book. I was shocked that she was voted to the next round. I think she already showed her best tricks she can do.😂 5:19 “A CAKE?!??!??” *followed by an hour and a half of audience footage* 😂 I can’t believe even the producers had to help her with the tricks 😅

The card was put in the cake when the camera purposely cut to the audience to hide the move. Look at the top of the cake you can see a slit in the middle where she slid the card

Telling the judges and America she can't afford a dog when she lives in Los Angeles for the last 6 years one of the most expensive cities in America. Do your research she's a multi-millionaire

not too sure about the blank cards but i think she got howie’s card into the cake during the transition from the box to the table the judges were sitting on. the camera panned over to the crowd and during the walk she could’ve put the card in through the bottom, there most likely was an opening under the tray that the cake was on for her to put her hand in
