@@Brandon_Leake_CTM omG you are amazing! The Lord has truly blessed you with a gift and mind with wisdom to know how to go the trials you've gone through, and still take control of your own life with standards and flourish and spread positivity to others. I didn't grow up with my father and have a stepdad who was mentally/emotionally abusive, and I was a TA for years pushing to inspire children and equip them to be successful. You are an inspiration. Good luck with AGT!

This is not just a performance of reciting poetry, but dramatic theatre at its best! Obviously may not be best for a Las Vegas show. However, he could easily assemble a one man show for Broadway and win awards for drama such as the Pulitizer Prize!
@DSonneborn
@DSonneborn 3 жыл бұрын
I respectfully disagree with your opinion of his performance being a Vegas act. After his performance last week I told my girlfriend that his show could be set up like church. Where he comes out says a poem or 2 and then a gospel group comes behind him and plays a song. For instance with this piece imagine when he finishes his final word, and steps into the darkness and then Resound does a gospel rendition of Cats In the Cradle. I could absolutely see myself in Vegas watching that.

Watch this with my young Queen. She will be 13 In December. I felt her pain,her hurt just everything. Wondering why. I just reach out to her just hold her as she cry and I cry with her.

I haven’t followed the show but I watched the video of his audition. I’m glad he’s been voted through. Amazing talent, but more than that for sure. Not quite sure what the “more” is, but it is there and I’m glad Brandon is willing to share.

Brilliant and beautiful! You told a story full of hope, then pain and hurt, and ultimately forgiveness! Loved the fluidity, and you’re portrayal of raw emotion! But the best part of all: “...at the altar of Christ.” You found forgiveness for your earthly father because of the forgiveness of your Heavenly Father! I love that message! Keep doing what you’re doing!

We keep hearing that part, "all of the issues we are having right now is due to the fact that there are so many who are Fatherless"...some have fathers right in their home and still feel their absence. This man's words spoke volumes. FORGIVENESS is the key.. whether we have a physical Father or not..we still have a Spititual Father who loves unconditionally!
