I loved it when he told the audience to not boo Simon. Contestants don't usually do that, and it just shows his character and how he respects others.

Can we just notice how he didn’t hesitate to measure out “the boos” and with such a respectful tone. He’s a hard person to measure up to and not just a comic to me. “Very likeable” indeed

I completely disagree with the judges this time. Although it was a long set up (without the piano) and therefore risky, the story built and became funnier and funnier, and my wife and I were laughing constantly throughout the last two minutes. Schtick and rapid fire one liners are not that funny. This is the real deal. I notice some of the comments below suggest that he is actually funnier outside of AGT and I do not doubt it. Best comedian on this show this year - by far - and actually ever on this show, and the only act on the whole series that I would like to watch for 60+ minutes. Most of the other comedians frankly annoyed me. Barry is wonderful!

I had high hopes for him. But the timing and delivery was off. You could tell he was nervous. Should have added the music element. I will be following his career! Wish him the best!
