Dancing and jumping around like that to get the crowd hyped is what puts her out of breath, fr. She need to stop worrying about the crowd waving their hands to her music, they only need to hear her. That's all.

It's so sad to see the judges--especially Simon mislead this girl into thinking that she has a career ahead of her. They are taking into account her fathers death to prevent hurting her feelings further. The judges are just helping her mourn her fathers death on stage.

I think she has so much potential and will get far. Her running out of breath is not her fault, she is only new to this. You cant expect her to nail a performance with so many movements if it's never been done before. There is so much practice and time needed to gain those skills and in time she will reach it. Her work is original, unique.

I love the beat,lyrics and how she interacted with the crowd and confidence. The only thing I’d say is that she should rap a little more instead of jumping around too much. That way she wouldn’t get tired and could breath but still interact with the crowd and be heard. At least now she knows so hopefully she takes Mel’s advice. Great overall though, can’t believe it is an original. People need to realise her age. I hope she gets enough votes for the next round, she will learn her mistake and focus on rapping and breathing instead of too much time with the audience.

My critique is this 1. Focus on the raps and your breaths, not getting the crowd to wave their arms 2. Next song she needs to bring something less pop and more soulful rap like her first songs\ 3. Remember she is 14 and still has a lot to learn but is doing a fabulous job so far!!

Anyone is well allowed to like this girl, but she isnt that good yet. Dont get me wrong, i see talent there, more talent than half the rappers out there today, but she isnt there yet, she needs to get in shape to perform rap like that, its high energy performing what a lot of these people do, and the reason why you find them in the gym so often, gotta stay is shape or they will fail on stage. Now i am not implying the girl failed, no, she performed for millions of people, had a lot of fun, entertained a room full of people and she gained some extra fame, if she takes the time she needs to grow as an artist, then i am sure we'll hear from her again, but is she good enough, right now, to win the biggest talent show? nope, she still has work to do.

I can not believe she didn't go through! If you look at her 3 performances that's the beginning of such a great album The first two were gritty and real and deep. This one had such a great message, but it was more uplifting and fun. America absolutely got it wrong this time

Viper Changed tha game hey I don’t think it was a good performance either but your argument kinda shows you don’t understand rap. The final word of the sentence doesn’t have to be the one that you rhyme. The words she was saying before “down” was the rhyming word. You can find examples of literally any rapper doing that but I’d say the best example is “Mo Money” by J. Cole :)

Why is hate a major part of hiphop. I see haters coming down over a 14year old lyrically talented rapper..smh. The only critic is that she was jumping too much and lost her breath at a point. Other than that, great jump. Her lyrics is always deep infact to deep for a young teen. She is a future icon.

Tee Johnson I agree she did focus a lot of her energy on the hands in the air thing, STILL GREAT don’t get me wrong, she has talent, and if she gets through, I hope there is improvement. Yeah I think it was the best act of the night but a lot of the acts tonight were pretty bad, almost everyone got worse or only stayed the same but her and Courtney were pretty good

This was a "safe" performance. She's talented but the competition is tough. With so many singers this year, I didn't see enough that wowed me. I wish she would've stuck more with the rap instead of worrying about people putting their hands up, but that's just me

She got the crowd in to it and besides, that's what singers do when they want the audience to get into it and that's to get the audience to wave their arms and hands in the air. Didn't Mel B. even notice that when she was performing with The Spice Girls and yet she doesn't remember that ever happening.
