I saw a video explaining how she does the quick changes, she does have an off camera assistant helping her with certain things, and a lot of it involves dresses that fold down to reveal a different color underneath, but it's still pretty darn impressive, and her stage presence and choice of music is magnificent! She really sells the show!

It’s layers of dresses that have like thin wires or strings running through them and the material is light enough that when she pulls her hands quickly, they get pulled ridiculously fast into the back and bottom most layer. It’s the same principle as those Chinese Mask actors that switch masks so fast it seems like magic. They do slowmo videos for these cause they are popular magic tricks. But she definitely has her act down pat to be able to act naturally as she does, she’s a great performer

The key item is the suitcase behind her. Noticed how she is always close to it? The very thin wires will pull one item at what feels like a few milliseconds. The one outfit in the clear bag just goes up into the top of bag. Similar process with the clear bag vs suitcase.

@@danirichey8313 It's called a transforming dress (you canlook it up on here). The dress is split in half at the waste, with velcro or a tie strap holding the top up. As the top is released it folds down and becomes the bottom revealing the next color/dress type underneath.

They need acts that people will watch before the finals. Great acts like this are needed for that. She needs to work on hiding her 'next move' a little better but yes she was almost flawless.

I wouldn't say so, she needs to get better at hiding her hand movements. You can clearly spot when she is prepping the swap, especially on the yellow dress. Still cool, but I would add some better distractions.

@@drakoran I dont think that seeing the hand movements and prepping takes away anything. Imo it almost adds to it. Because you see it you expect to see the transition, and yet it all goes so smoothly anyways. You expect to see the trick, and yet you dont, even if I know how at least some of these changes occur.

It’s amazing that we all know it’s a fairly simple illusion to pull off. I don’t mean it would be super easy to do it, cuz lord knows I wouldn’t be able to. But the illusion itself is simple in nature. Even with that, she was freaking incredible lol. I paused, rewound, replayed, etc this video over and over and couldn’t see how it was done. She nailed it!!! 😂😎🔥👍 NOW…i just have to teach my wife the ways of the quick change 😂😂😂

You can see it happening. It’s not even good. The dress in the bag rolls up into the hanger. It’s a bunch of layers with different hooks and fasteners. The suitcase catches those and pulls the top layer in.

I kinda get it but I'm not a tailor so I dnt get how it works exactly and definitely looks cool with the sudden change. But you can see how the dress in the plastic worked it just rolled up to look like she put it on

If you're wondering how she does this, notice how each new dress progressively gets longer and never the other way around. That's because she's already wearing them all as single garment that she simply unfolds from the top layer by layer. It's a very simple trick, but an efficient one.
