Executive Producer Simon Cowell returns to the star-studded judging panel with global fashion icon Heidi Klum, fan-favorite comedian Howie Mandel and acclaimed actress and international superstar Sofia Vergara. Jon Batiste is great and love the Michael Jackson influence, the pants and the loafers, and the performance is very reminiscent to Michael’s infamous performance at the Grammys in 88, with man in the mirror.

I saw him last weekend in New Orleans at the New Orleans Jazz Fest, the performance was amazing! I love it! He performed this song. He’s a wonderful performer. I don’t watch AGT. I felt the AGT performance would be outstanding if it lasted longer

I get the the acts are performing with those who are already famous etc, but i dont feel this really got to showcase Mzansi Youth Choir's talents as much. Much of it was them basically being like backup dancers and the performance elevated Jon more than them which i dont think is fair considering AGT is about undiscovered talents getting to showcase that. It was a good performance but yeah, I would of preferred to just see them on stage performing alone. This performance didn't have the same contagious energy that when they are in their element has.

@@BelleTolles you are here because of Jon, but many others are here for the Mzansi Youth Choir. I wasnt saying they shouldnt have the acts performing with famous celebs, what i was meaning is that it should be a performance that is more balanced between the two especially since it is on AGT where it is a competition for those in it therefore we should be seeing them being able to showcase that and still able to showcase that whilst performing with a celeb. I hope you will check out their other performances so you get to see a full feel for them and what they do.

Jon Batiste is a talented singer, but this performance was not supposed to be about him as center stage. The main goal of this moment was to bring into light this amazing choir, and it unfortunately felt like they were the second violin this time. i have enjoyed much more their spirit and explosion of positive emotions in their previous appearances. Mzansi was put in the shadow in this final.

It's true the US has a lack of culture and tends to prefer only magic, singers, and ventriloquists. I myself had it a dead heat between the brothers and Murmuration. With the blind girl a close 3rd.

Batiste is singer and pianist. He is a world sensational artist at 17. He went to Julliard and he won 5 Grammy. Guess, who wants to follow his step? Putri. He should be coupled with Jon Batiste...not Leona Lewis.
