For most costume changes I've watched, they always end up wearing thinner and shorter dresses but she chose to end up big. And that's another mind-blowing underrated twist for me.

She made the dresses herself. That big one at the end was neatly rolled into that leopard one. You can tell that it was slightly baggy. Her act is very easy to figure out, but the quirkiness of it is what makes it so entertaining.

I know! I just saw some other quick change videos on AGT and it looks soooo outdated now and too slow. nothing magical about hiding and wiggling behind a curtain for 5 long seconds. Lea really set the bar high

yep a couple mess ups, but really some great techniques on costume changes. You can figure out how its being done, but still did extremely well

@@thousandyardgavri2785 he's trying to say that her movements are too stiff and robotic. The secret to why she moves like that unintentionally is because of the magic tricks hidden in her clothes she can't move in a certain way freely.

I remember Shin Lim winning AGT. I wouldn't class Lea Kyle quite in the same level as Shin Lim, but I do feel Lea Kyle is very close.

@@gtvchnl Quick change is not new to America's Got Talent, but Lea Kyle is the very best of all quick change artists. That being said, she lacks a musical synchronization that Shin Lim displays. Lea Kyle is very good, and can easily fit into the top 10, but Shin Lim has a musical poise that Lea Kyle would be hard pressed to emulate. I like Lea Kyle, too, and I appreciate having a different top tier magic, but there's another level of improvement that Lea Kyle can ascend.

I saw her in " France got talent " (the year before she did " America's got talent ") but for me, they didn't appreciate her talent at its right value. They liked the fact she doesn't hide herself completely when she changes clothes (one of the guy of the jury is a magician) but nobody gave her a golden buzzer. She even changed the clothes of the presenter (a woman) during the last part of her audition.

Just the first change... man , she's exceptional, her boyfriend is also very classy and a very good magician, I follow her stuff since Penn and Teller. I remember her taking the time to thank each people posting supporting comments on her videos, She really took quick change to another level since then. When i think about a good magician , there are many names coming to my head, but when i think about quickchange... only her name comes to my mind. BONNE CHANCE from France!!!

I am not easily impressed by such acts. But here it s a completely different story. The full package is tidy, magical, well orchestrated and smiley over the top. I think all the props behind her have hidden mechanisms that pull off a layer. Rewatch and notice that many of her changes occur while pressed against the props. Not sure about the ones out in the open though

Where-ever she stands is likely where her dress is being pulled through a string by someone. I think that long counter behind her is where her assistant is crawling from one side to another with her to pull the dresses off but still nice to see a new fresh look other than the old black curtain

@@thousandyardgavri2785 Yeah, that's the advantage to not hiding your change behind a screen: when something doesn't work quite right, it's less ostentatious and easier to incorporate into the act. Whereas if you run behind a screen and come out wearing the same thing, it's pretty obvious and hard to ignore that something went wrong.

I don't know that I would want to watch an act like this for a whole hour but this felt rushed. I wish they would do less of judges comments and video intro and let the acts have more time to let their performances breathe.

As I predicted, she came up with an entirely new performance. She did re-use a trick from previous performances elsewhere, but that trick was not used on AGT previously, so this is all new for that show. Some folks were worries she wouldn't be able to do that. For traditional quick change this would be an issue and has been, but since this performance is based on stage magic and isn't traditional quick change, that means she has the flexibility and creativity to actually come up with new stuff instead of iterating the same few things over and over again.

I have loved quick change acts for years- but this one is soooooo unique, most quick change acts are two people together on stage. She is clearly on stage doing it all herself. These changes are fast there not like some that are over the top slow. Hopefully she Wins.

She's not on the stage completely alone:). I've seen couple of her acts, she always has the partner hidden in the props (in this case the fake furniture) who assists with peeling of the layers from behind and hiding them, as well as couple other things like the clothes flying on wire etc. You can notice it few times how she positions herself in very specific spots very close to the furniture so she can have her partner remove the clothes from behind. Nevertheless, she is indeed very good. Most quick change acts are very simplistic and pretty boring, she manages to incorporate bunch of magician tricks into it, which makes it a lot more complex and interesting than usual quick change acts.
