It easy to improv the magic. You just need bunch of tool to back up. This performance is clever because it have many outies. But at the same time, I think he had been in the control of outcome. The second one, I think Terry was in it as a stooge.

Nah. There is nothing improv about this. if it was improve he would have had the cards randomly put onto the wheel say by the judges drawing them out of a bag. The fact that they're already set up on the wheel tells us that the wheel is probably controlled. It spins a long time. It's likely got a controller on it that has it stop at predetermined spots. Terry was completely in on it.

Perfect balance of talking and magic. Some acts lean way too heavily on one side. I love when the audience is engaged. I could watch that for hours. 10 years of professional experience really shows here.

Always great to see Mat perform. But while this seemed like a bunch of free choice this was clearly an example of a force which is why Mat was able to “predict the future” and have it written on the board beforehand. Then all he had to do was the 2 common tricks (card and coin)
