I love her. I would love to see her on her own show. I know I would enjoy it and I'd be feeling really great after the show. My intuition tells me that not all human beings can relate to her jokes. And I can tell why but I won't share that here 🥰.

I agree. Perhaps more people watching at home related to her routine. I think she's very funny, but really needed at least one big laugh. I did vote for her.

No better way to fail at being funny than NOT knowing her audience. Plus, it had nothing to do with content. It was that it just wasn't funny. She didn't even hit the punchlines correctly. So the audience was confused at weather to laugh or not. 3:06 is a perfect example. She completey fumbled the punchline and the audience couldn't even hear what she said. Yeah, blame the audience though.

Nah, watch some actual professional comedians. Punchlines weren't hitting because they just weren't that funny. You can't force people to laugh if something isn't naturally funny. Her stage presence is lackluster at best and she fumbled over alot of it.

Maureen I think did a very good job considering she have to keep it very clean for this family show. That’s one of the most challenging things to as a comedian.

She throws in tons of little freebies like that and keeps going with the main joke. Strong writing. You have to be smart enough to catch them. Sometimes the audience is dumb enough to make you hate them - like Simon

This lady has a special sense of humor. It requires me to adjust the playback setting to 1.5 It is the only way I can smile instead of looking so serious. She has timing but her jokes are far too relatable. She is more sentimental than funny. I call her a sentimedian. I know that sounds stupid but I call her that anyway. 😁

This is the type of humor that will only make sense to a select group. Im sure most older women get where she's coming from. It kind of seemed like the majority of her act was venting over the journey of dealing with menopause and father time.

Notice commenters -- many in the audience stood up when she finished. Some people may not have related, but others can because they are better at perspective-taking. You have to think during the set.

The audience members are pawns. I've been to an AGT taping. They tell you what to do. There's a rule that says all the acts get standing ovations. Whether you liked them or not. And there's a rule that states, when the people in the front row stand (all shills), the entire audience stands. Even stuff like boo Simon when he says something negative. Again, same rules. If the front row starts booing, everybody has to boo. And if you don't follow those rules, they kick you out, and get someone in the back to take your seats, because they can't have empty seats on camera.

A girl at the Este Lauder counter of Sacks told my wife once that she need mature skin therapeuticals . My wife lookedher in her eyes, and said, "Come close, darling. Look at my face very carefully. Do you know what you're seeing?" The poor little servant shook her head, and tried to back out of my wife's death grip. "No, ma'am." My wife said, "MA'AM!?" That little girl's face went sallow, and I could see her visibly deflate. My wife said, "This, honey, is YOUR future. And you have (looking down at her watch) Goodness! WAY less time than you think before you ARE me. So I'd lay off the snarky agism, and condesention so you can focus on not drying up quicker than you have to." It turned out OK. The girl's manager was able to revive her. She was my wife's age, and just looked at my wife and told her, "Go ahead and go. This one is still learning some life lessons the hard way. But we'll train her better." My wife walked away mumbling something like "...dent her little T zone with my skull..." So I give her my card and have a prearranged obligation whenever she has to shop or hunt, or whatever it's called.

I gotta kind of agree with Simon.. I think that the problem with this particular act was that many of the jokes had to be "thought over" before getting it, for a large portion of the audience/viewers, creating a form of delay in reaction.. So by the time one gets the joke, she's halfway through the next punch line.. I'm a woman who is nearing the age group myself (I'm 37) and I found the jokes funny.. Once I actually got to understand what she was actually saying.. To deep and to fast paced to create that instant laughter that Stand Up Comedy is all about.. Its a shame, cuz she does have the potential for something great..

It started out flat, hate then profiling, touchy topics. I'm older and have seen alot of comedians, and from the start I had a feeling her subject matter was not going to connect. There were a couple chuckles but that was it. I feel sorry for the comedians when they bomb, it's the toughest act type on AGT to keep the steam going.

Rolled my eyes more than I laughed. First off, as a middle aged black woman, hearing a white woman of any age REPEATEDLY complain about “being profiled” is really, really annoying! And as much as I hated her delivery, as she yelled every single joke, the very last line about the physical therapist going to her special place made me chuckle, once. Overall, I thought it was terrible.

I didnt think she was funny at all. Sure, i let out 2-3 smiles or brief laughs. But nothing absolutely wowed me. Recently i commented on an audition video of a singer who kept bringing up things before actually singing. They never actually sang. Apparently it was similar comedy to what some famous comedian would do, except he died circa 1984. My point is, just because a comedy style worked for one person, doesn't mean it will work for another.
