You are totally amazing richard. The first time me and my man watched you, he cried. He said you were totally genuine. He would have loved you this time too. Additionally, doesn’t it feel like his face shows he is determined? Last time, when he got the golden buzzer he looked very nervous, his singing was impassioned and incredible tho. But in this stage, Heidi said he was a bit nervous but I didn’t really feel that. In my view, He was very motivated and had confidence. Even though he was amazing today, I reckon he could be much better next time with the trust of himself. Let’s go Richard!

I'm a Marine Corps veteran. And stuff like singers on AGT usually doesn't impress me much. I've been having suicidal ideations lately and since you've been on AGT you've lifted me up quite a bit. I rewatch your videos for a lot of different reasons. It makes me still feel like there's a lot of good in the world still. Maybe thats why your last name is Goodall lol

I would also ask please please reach out to a friend, a family or even the suicide prevention line 988 if you're still having suicidal ideation. You're in a tough spot right now but you can get through this by asking for help. Hard to say if you will get through if you don't. I know the future you will be thankful if you get help and you deserve help. You don't have to deal with this hell alone and you shouldn't. Some things you shouldnt try to fight alone. Like Balrogs, old sailors and thoughts of suicide. I'm here and anyone else you reach out to will also be glad you did. Take care, God bless

It was his way getting back at Simon for kinda telling him the song was not a great choice. He humbled Simon with that gesture about the people back stage are important too!

@@pwhit59I respectfully disagree. I think he was inferring that the team backstage, perhaps the voice coach, may have had a hand in picking that song rather than him. Nonetheless, he sang it with a ton of emotion and he is so humble. He’s left himself enough room to raise his levels in the next two rounds if he makes it through to the finals.

I had the opportunity to meet Richard before a concert in our little hometown. He is so genuine, so humble, and so down to earth. He was going around talking to everyone who was there early to thank them for coming. I wish him all the best and he'll certainly never have a lack of love and listeners up here in the Midwest!!

As a matter of fact, yes we can all hear his imperfect singing, but his emotion deliver is amazing, this man’s soul is beautiful. By "Imperfect", most people mean "not exactly on pitch", yet emotion is carried in imperfection, so really, "imperfect" is just a way of saying "human", while a song that is pitch correct may be technically "perfect", yet it ends up being cold and emotionless. To me, "imperfect" is a compliment.

No, if you had watched another video, you would know the song was for his fiancée. He explained that the night he did his audition, his fiancée had heart surgery because she had a major heart attack and almost died.

@stevemcintosh6711 I would disagree.. his voice is not weak. He does great with his tones. A voice unique to his own. I do think he could benefit from some coaching and may now get the opportunity to do so if he wishes. Is his voice the out of the box cookie cutter voice that's always applauded, no. It's unique to his own. This is AGT yes a lot of talent has crossed that stage along with some amazing voices. Richard came with more than just a voice. Simon stated, "I think America is going to love you".. Think about it.. ? Will he win it all? I don't know. I hope he does though. It would be well deserved. AGT making dreams come true..! 🙂

This song took my heart as it brings back memories of losing my wife. My only best friend I lived for. Years later I still feel the loss. Our children and grandchildren feel the same. We know she looks down upon us and helps us through the struggles. She's now in the hands of God.

I fell in love with this guy when he auditioned with Don’t Stop Believin’ Journey. His quarter final performance is so moving and so beautifully done. I will admit, watching it on TV is different. Much better on KZbin because there is so much screaming in the building, I didn’t hear it like this. I hope he wins it all! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

As soon as he started I was emotional relating to the song. Some people have a gift to sing and a beautiful voice too. I think people should share their talents and gifts and I'm glad he decided to.

Richard Goodall is easily one of the best contestants this season. He seems very humble, he has an amazing voice, and he doesn’t need a story to get people to side with him. This performance, you could feel that every lyric was meant for his fiancée. A great way to finish the evening.

Possibly both, his fiance just had a heart attack and they said he lost 1st wife of 30yrs in 2022.kindve a double whammy. Humble is so true, can just tell he is a man that will always speak the truth, even if it hurts. Friends of him and folks like him are lucky people. You get the best influence possible to steps leading to happiness. Money is not it, (For the love of money is the root of all evil.), But oh yes it will bring material things and smile for 1 day. Then soon you have so much going on, you dont have time for nobody or even a smile. When your cup of desire goes empty, true happiness is achieved. When you want something, then your not totally satisfied, so your happiness is not totally full and amount reduced from full is how bad you want it.
