This is crazy. This guy performed at my High School back in 2014 when he was a much smaller act. Just randomly remembered him and looked him up and it turns out he's on AGT, just in the last few days...? Wow! Pretty cool to see.

The first part of trick I've seen a thousand times. The final part of the performance, the prediction in the envelope, was written by person under table then brought up through slot in table behind the "envelope". He grabs the prediction and envelope and gestures like it was in the envelope, but it's not...just immediately behind it. It's an old fortune teller trick with a not so new twist.

I think I see where he slides up the new thing. Look at 4:19. Clear movement of the paper going up into the “envelope” which has 2 slits on each side. Wow..

It's more simple than that. The part of the screen with the envelope is a split screen. It's frozen whilst an assistant swaps the envelope. You can see when the split screen switches off at 4:19. Derren brown did this exact same thing with his lottery prediction. As for the cards on the table, I'm pretty sure there's 5 picture cards with black backs (so they are invisible against the table) just above the 5 face up cards. He lays the face down cards ontop of them and flips them over together. The minute you see any black velvet table you just know there's somehing like that going on.

This is clear that there is someone under the table, you can tell from the way he placed the envelope. the person under the table wrote everything Simon said and slide it into the envelope.

That would be incredibly stupid and lame for a show at this level. And if that's the best he can do, then how would he manage in the live show? I think if you audition for AGT, you have something a bit more sophisticated than a person crouched under a table. Sheesh.

What he does is amazing! Been to a live show when he lived in the east coast. Also met him a few times in person through a mutual friend. Once at a party and my friends were so lame not wanting him to do any tricks. Like who doesn’t want magic tricks on their birthday?! They allowed like one trick haha Another time it was in the same party friend’s radio show. He predicted a word I was thinking of. He was correct and I remember saying that’s creepy! Lol He can read people in an amazing way. I don’t know how he does the wild predictions. His in the moment readings are wild and an amazing skill.

Im sorry I was rude and fired up about alot of people making it seem like that's a simple trick, and dissecting it to make it look rookie, maybe it is, but it was my first time seeing it, I was entertained enough that I want to see more. You made the most sense and stayed nice. If that is done in person or with a crowd, I think he would have a hard time getting a person under that table one hour before the real show, then wait for everyone to leave so he can come out

For the one with the cards that matched each other he probably memorized the order of all the people and then placed that card with that person knowing Simon would say no but I have no idea how he did the other ones. It was like he searched Simon up on google 😂. This was definitely a mind blowing act 🤯

I missed the other 99 performances, can you give me 5 names of people that performed a similar act, I really want to see other ways of doing it, since you are a master at watching this trick, how did he get all the writing right. Please dont exaggerate again, I see your trick with a compliment, then you make it look like it's the most common trick done, obviously you felt the need to prove hes not orginal, maybe he chose to do that, so you would say something, hes been doing this for 20 years, just know hes in your head right now, and will tell your friends your little secrets, so I know there will be plenty of originality.
