Anna Sahakyan i think his concerto skills is what makes him competitive to all the other talent on AGT. I genuinely believe that no other magicians could have pulled off the win in the season he was in (or the world) except SL. Thats not bc im bias bc I certainly was critical of him in his first performance where he had no personality. But with singers and dancers at that level.. he killed it by playing a professional piano piece then going back to card manipulation in his final act where there was a phenomenal dance group as well as the violinist. Him doing the piano really set him apart from all other magicians and thats not a criticism of pure magicians or even other takents its just what gave him that extra x-factor and proved why he possessed the pedigree to hang on AGT like no one else. Otherwise my comment is always there are other programs that evaluate the performance (for which he he fooled P&T twice) so he has CONSISTENTLY proven himself over and over. Also very humble and nice guy. My only problem with him is he may not appeal to both genders but a particular demographic.

It’s just a distraction so he can turn upside down the last card of the deck which is obviously the joker card that put it in her hand ... watch carefully when he turns his head he slides the deck on his body and turns that card

I’ve been learning some slight of hand tricks and even tho I know how he did it I still don’t know HOW SLICK HE IS!!! HE DOES IT SO SMOOTHLY!!!

Everybody know how he did it. Its all about how smooth he is and how well he performs it. Same with his acts on AGT. With some simple logic, you can figure out 90% of it, but its his slight of hand and most importantly his performance ability. That last one is what makes his special. Lots of magician dont have that. For example Eric Chien. He is probably just as good(if not better) in terms of magic/ slight of hand. But he cant perform like this man can. Total package!!

I don’t envy performers, I just applaud them. Shin Lim may or may not be the best sleight of hand performer, I don’t have the experience to tell, but he is captivating. He sculpted his persona and his acts to fit his personality and strengths. It has mass appeal and encourages astonishment, and his accolades tell me the professionals think highly of him. Dude has everything figured out, I hope sees decades of success.

That first trick was so incredibly basic to learn, yet so flawless in execution. - Time to learn: 30 seconds. - Time to practice it so you can do it with only a small chance of your spectators to notice how you do it: Several hours. - Time to do it as flawless as Shin: What do they say about 10.000 hours to master something? Yeah about that.

Shin Lim is just incredible. If, he didn't look human ........ I would say he is from another planet. He sees the world in a way in which we cannot see it. He is truly a humble Master Magician. I am so grateful to God Almighty that I lived to see him perform in the capacity in which he does. I honestly believe (one day) he will do so much more than what regular people are capable of doing. I think he is using much more of his brain than what the average person uses. I can't wait to see what he is going to be like in his late twenties.
