Thank you so much! It was such an honor that Metallica trusted me that I’ll make them proud and I was able to play this iconic Metallica song for the first time ever on AGT! And the AGT crew are amazing in creating such an incredible unforgettable experience. Metallica was the reason I started playing guitar since 6 years old and now it feels like a full circle that I got to play Metallica for my 2nd ever biggest stage performance. That's what made this day most special for me! Thank you all for the love and support. It means a lot! ❤❤❤

When Maya played the solo of James's vocal tune at the start, I was a little concerned it would end there... But when she went into the Sitar thing, and then launched straight into playing the bridge solo of Master of Puppets... And did it so FLAWLESSLY... You go, girl !

This literally brought tears to my eyes, not only because of her talent and all of that - there's also the reality that this song that was never heard on "rock radio" and didn't have widespread acceptance in America - it's now being played on network TV on a TV show that has an enormous following. Super confident on stage. This girl is a born rocker . The agt result is immaterial she is already a star. As a huge metal fan i hope she plays iron maiden , black sabbath, led zeppelin, metallica and everything in between. Waiting for more amazing music from maya. ❤ A very proud indian.

wow, gave a shout out to cliff. I remember seeing cliff at Ruthies Inn in Berkeley, CA. He was so excited because Metallica was going to be opening for Ozzy. It was the start for them. Sadly, he was dead not long after from his bus accident. RIP.

Glad to have discovered Maya a while back now . When she was gifted a signature guitar from TOOLS Adam Jones . Have watched a tonne of her vids covering their songs simply amazing . Glad she stepped up and entered AGT so the masses could see how epic she is . Much love from Australia keep it up girl
