Y'all forgetting that Chase used to be famous on vine and he and Shawn Mendes used to perform together on tours (Magcon) lol. Chase has his own songs and everything on iTunes, but never made it to the same fame as Shawn, as this is his ultimate goal. He's incredible though, and I'm glad he's finally getting the recognition he deserves! Hoping the next song he performs is A capella (his original).

:/ no way he sang hurt? I really thought he wouldn't do the same audition twice. I mean it's been what, 3 years now? He's written a lot of songs, and I really thought he'd sing Acapella. Oh well let's just hope he stays true to himself this time around and only plays originals. But regardless this audition was perfectly executed💕

That was brilliant! I love how the lyrics are written. Doesn't take a genius to understand, but really makes you reflect and picture the situation. And I definitely adore the hook of the song where he transitions perfectly from a well-written, upbeat rap verse into the next line where he sings it. Makes the next verse sound a lot more emphasized, he's not kidding this one. Really like him. :)

Ya, but keep in mind that he sings well regardless of who's style he is copying. And recognize he wrote this song; not Ed Sheeran. Ed Sheeran might want to ring him up to write him songs that fit his style.
