Amazing job Eric. As a fellow magician, I can really appreciate your showmanship throughout this whole routine. It's our job as magicians to make the story and presentation the focus of the whole performance. It doesn't matter if you flash, mess up or whatever. What matters is that in the moment you can hold the audience's attention despite the mistakes. THAT is the sign of a great showman and magician.

You can see the coins appearing under the $100 bill at 1:18 (he even tries to cover it be readjusting the bill) + two coins are magnetic which collapses into one (you can hear it at 3:51)

Btw, everyone saying they know how it’s done and he messes up, if you were watching live like the judges were (because he is trying to impress them too) you would not have realized, it is hard to do perfect misdirection and online, you can rewind so there is nothing he can do about it, it was a great performance.

Watch the 100 dollar bill in the beginning he accidentally moves it on the table revealing the four coins underneath. He also used his sleeve to tuck the "disappearing" coins away. And sat one of the "missing coins" on Mel B's shoulder when he touched her shoulder. You can see the quarter after he removed his hand well before he initiated the trick.

he has one "magic coin" made of two "coins". Everytime he is doing his speechs he puts one of the normal coins on his pocket and then he gives the judge the other coins. The magic coin looks like it's in fact two coins when they are lined up, but when they shake or drop, probably some magnetical stuff unites the two "coins".

But i mean people should not act like they are some grandmaster magician and bash him.If you see the tricks so obviously then you're not the only one who realize it.I do respect their observation but just respect the magician who get his own stage in front of thousand of people too.Coz it's not a magic show it's a talent show.If he's good he will pass if he's not that good then he will not.Simple.But thanks again for your opinion.

The real thing here is that Eric Jones is a brilliant coin magic sleight of hand artist! He tried to mess with the judges. That was the input of the whole routine. No big walk through glass, or breaking buzzer magic. Just simple, beautiful coin magic. Upclose and personal. He went back to his rootes. I loved the act, real well done sleights. (Rewinding to see what he was doing is the only way to know how he did it, if he did this to you in person, he would have absolutely fooled each and everyone of us)

His act was just poorly executed and I do not believe that he deserves to reach the next round tonight. Even if we are not watching it live and could play back and could slow down the speed it just is not up to the standard that we expect for semifinals in agt Look at Matt Franco... I have watched all his performances so many times and I'm still in awe watching them.

the coins are magnetic...each one can fan out and then when you release them they will slide on top of each other to appear as one. You can clearly see him put something in his pocket everytime he moves to a new judge.

TheSnapback Gullible? I don't think so. That was a pretty great act. When I see a magic trick, I don't expect a person to make me believe in magic. However, you can see the wonder in the judges eyes when the coins vanish. That's what it is all about. This is close-up magic being presented to us from far away, so it's easy to think it's stupid. But seeing the fluidity and having the coin vanish in YOUR own hands is truly amazing if you see a magician like this in person. All in all, this guy was pretty darn good.

HERES THE EXPLAINATION: FIRST: you can see at 1:18 that after he put the bill on the "table" he put his hand on each side, and than you can see coins apear under the bill , and yes these are the coins that he takes at the end. 2ND: 1:38 every times he gives to the judges the money, he places it in the same way, he superposes the coins, (but they're is always that one special coins and the oders or normal, lets continue, this special coins can become 2,)but when the judges drop or shake coins, it replaces into 1 coin! So watch theses exemple and notice what he do and the placement of the coins 2:17 , 3:19 and after watching each, wait till the moment they shake or drop their pieces, youll see that the coin become one! *if you are on pc put the slowmotion. 3RD : the last thing that you need to know is that when he go see another judges, he always put a normal coin on his pocket, so that he can always make the disparition effect! Seriously, you don't have to dis him like that. Everybody knows that, and he tried his best. I doubt you'd do any better. He was just performing for the judges and the audience, it was not meant for hundreds of cameras recording him.
