Anyone came back here to listen to her again after watching Mzansi Youth Choir audition gain the golden buzzer from the audience in AGT 2023. She is definitely an inspiration to everyone and touched the hearts of many many young people like this choir all around the world!

Is anyone listening to this in April 2024❤❤❤ and for the remaining months and days of the year, there's this certain encouragement the song gives that no matter what you're going through the are others going through much more pain than you and the never gave up so you shouldn't too because God will forever be there for us. It's May 1, 2024, and this is like...my 50th time playing this video. She left us not a memory of her but a reminder to all of us that, if we are in pain, it's okay to endure the pain and we all just have to give it time anyway no matter how long it will take for us 'til we feel better ('cause we will feel better); that no matter what we're going through and how hard it is, no matter how many times we feel lost, we just have to hold on and refuse to accept defeat. Honestly, because of her, I feel stronger. NIGHTBIRDE IS A THERAPY, and I will always remember her.

Remember seeing this around the time she auditioned... Her positivity and strength was so strong. Her song was more beautiful than beautiful and her voice is ...there are no words for how beautiful she was, her voice... Everything about her. At 31 she was gone, she's gifted all of us with this song that touches our souls. She's still a ray of light, of hope. At 2% she lived it at 200%. And she was so right about not waiting to be happy. To all that are sick and weak, for whom everyday is a struggle, I feel for you. This song's for you.

She has a beautiful voice, my heart from my country Mexico for her, I wish her much strength, blessings, encouragement and a lot of attitude to open this difficult cancer disease, I felt her heart in each letter of her song, God be with you and you manage to survive this disease and then only the memory remains, I am a cancer survivor for 5 long years and I know what it feels like, God gave me a new chance at life and I had to understand that even though my situation was more difficult, I got up with more strength, faith and my heart happy and grateful for the good and bad that happen, I call that being a winner!

LIKE WHAT THE HELL (excuse my language) but honestly she went through all that and STILL went up there and sung her heart out. People will always hate on either those they're jealous of or things they don't fit their standards. there will always be haters even when someone is just trying to live out who they are. I’m going through a lot right now but, this beautiful, courageous young woman has inspired so many people and when things get so bad that I don’t think I can go on, I listen to Nightbirde to remind myself that I must keep fighting. But, it kills me that she gave it everything she had. 😢We lost her much too young. I think of all of the music and spirit she took with her. Life just isn’t fair. 💔You are missed by millions. Your pain is over but we will never have another Nightbirde. I hope there are unreleased music that may still be released. ❤

She walked in there already weak from the cancer and knowing she had 2 percent chance of survival but she chose to enrich the world with her beautiful wisdom. She could have chose not show up to this audition and she could have been doing so many other things knowing that she’s dying soon but she chose to give the world this life changing audition. She put us first before herself. She is a true Angel.

There is nobody in this world that deserved that golden buzzer more than this girl right here did!! Absolutely 1007% hands down the most inspirational person with the absolute worst circumstances and still just such a beautiful soul and so happy to just be alive! My personal life hasn't been easy but compared to hers it's a walk in the park and I find myself miserable more often than not and would love just to have a tenth of the enthusiasm or passion for life that this girl beautiful Angel Had!!

Okay, but I have to say, she wrote this song years ago, before she was sick. Her original version had much more of a "pop" sound to it. She changed it into a ballad to perform on AGT. As for it being about the last year of her life... No comment. I think one kind thing that can be said about her, and truthful as well, is that she was a performer to the end.
