I think their group is unique and has consistent and well-defined identity in an entertainment industry where talents wasted for conformity. They have original songs, original dance routines, original production. And it is entertaining! I would certainly buy a ticket to their show

With what we've all had to live through for the last year and a half or so we needed to be entertained. Say what you will about them, but you cannot deny that they are indeed entertaining. Thanks for putting smiles back on our faces Johnny Showcase and Mystic Ticket!

After becoming a new fan of Johnny Showcase and his group and watching ALL his you tube videos - I agree, he picked the wrong song. But his group is so deserving so I'm rooting for them. They are a real talent but not everyone will get them. I do and I love them. ❤️

Agt needs to change the stage production. There is so much going on that it’s hard to focus on the act; this goes for almost all of the performances from tonight. This song was wrong but these guys are great performers and deserve another chance.

@@gashchannel334 the show has a group of people who think they know what ultimately looks good on TV. AGT wouldn’t let the contestants do the whole look or background on their own. The contestants mainly focus on talent and the team for AGT decides the ultimate look.

@@gashchannel334 yes, but you need to understand how tv and networks operate. He has no talent and was able to go crazy and the shows team helped him accomplish that to make it more ridiculous. Everyone at agt knew it was a spoof performance, they kept him as such, and nothing else.

Personally I enjoyed their first performance and watched that video more than fifty times! That was legendary. This performance was good but I wish they would have chosen a different song. Whatever said and done, they are great entertainers. Love you Johnny Showcase 🤗

I'm voting for this act still strictly based on their audition. Their first song was catchy as hell. This, not so much. But I still love this act and think they deserve another chance. Keep doing your thing, Johnny

How do they deserve another chance? The whole point of rounds is that you perform in each round otherwise they might as well just choose a winner from the auditions.

Johnny Showcase pretty much just blew the opportunity to showcase himself. 'Hit it From the Back' is their best song after 'Sensual,' followed by 'Your Love is a Mystery.' They really should have gone with one of those two -- they are great.

I commented on their last AGT video that "Your Love is a Mystery" was there most reachable to audiences song. I actually came to their page today because it is stuck in my head and I want to hear it again. I never even knew this Octopus song existed. Perhaps they thought the visuals would help but I dislike this song, I think it is one of their weakest ones I heard.

@@Parmihastam I’ve been watching this show every year since it started. It’s the same stuff over and over. Kodi Lee is the last contestant that made me drool over the show like I usually do. It’s just nice to see something we haven’t seen before and this year there’s a lot of the same stuff: singers, dog acts, dance groups, etc. I still watch it and thoroughly enjoy it, but I’m just not being amazed by anything really this year. They’re all fantastic talents though. This group is just something hilarious and something I haven’t seen on the show before, that’s all.

I think this guy is great but as my sister and most folks can tell you Read the room!! They made it cuz they were hilarious But people weren't ready for this performance Not bad but this sounds like a song that belongs on their 3rd or 4th album

After watching their first audition several times, I thought their live show act would be better. He did come out with a full band as I expected but the song he chosen was not as catchy like the first. And the comedic element was missing. But I hoping they go through. Great entertainers!

Wait a damn minute. That is 70’s comedic funk if I never heard of it. I don’t even care for funk music all that much but I actually really, really dug that song. I like that they were singing about an octopus and the kisses being different. As silly as that is… lol. It was meant to be! I TOTALLY understood the erotic goofiness behind that. Idk I thought it was original, funky, funny, catchy and colorful so i honestly Dk what everyone is so up in arms about this. There have been actual terrible acts who thought they were good and just because the judges said it was good everyone agreed. This act was good man idk what’s wrong with yall

The producers of the show have final say over what songs are performed. The bad song choice is most likely on them.

I've seen so many of the live videos of this band and they are great and Johnny has a great voice. Wish they had done another song. And it doesn't really show Johnny's singing voice as it has a talk/sing vibe. Hope they go through so we can see more of the gold. Also think this and some other sets, are way to busy and don't flatter the artists.

Gets better the more I watch this. Not easy to compress the entire 5 min + song into 2 mins. That's y some parts may hv sounded a bit disjointed but what an effort n everything is 100% original. I hope these guys move on to better things.
