Me too! I used to work at Rockefeller Center (they were filming finale shows at Radio City Music). He and the other competitor guys would hang outside during breaks picking up tourist girls. Was pretty funny and Piff seemed genuinely nice.

He would have still said 2, because the trick was already done by then. If it was real, he would have asked the judges to choose a number and then give a different judge the opportunity to change it.

He was on the show several years ago when they had two different female judges. He did well on the first round and laid an egg in the second round. That’s why Simon X’d him.

It's a comedic take on the "cards across" magic technique. They cut the cameras and edited most of that out but that's what they do on AGT so that you cannot see the sleight of hand. The producers are known for this. Fooled Us didn't cut cameras so you can see all of the techniques used. He is funny and good at this type of comedy magic. Oldy but goodie. Also, he made the number choice seem random but funny by mentioning the number 7 for the laugh.

Through slight of hand he gave one judge 8 slices and the other 12. Then by asking the audience to pick a number he could choose the number 2 himself, pretending he heard someone say it.

He's way funny, but the trick is called cards across. The camera didn't show it, but he just keeps two slices in his hand and puts them with the other deck. It's the easiest magic trick on the planet. I've done this with my own students. Watch the Penn and Teller act he did. You can see it easier.
