I have to say, it must take supreme effort and confidence to face an audience of that size. I have only watched the performance, not yet the judges reaction. But when they panned behind Reid and I saw what he was seeing in front of him, it's breathtaking. Also, the kid has a great voice. No doubt we'll be hearing more! Bravo.

Id like to hear him do his version of Rolling in the deep or Set fire to the rain. He would probably steal the show with those. Just gotta have solid drums and a good backing track. Add that with walking around the stage and selling it emotionally and he could win. Easy on me would be perfect if their was more of a buildup or tempo was faster at the end with more soulful feeling instruments than just piano.

I personally don’t think those songs would fit his personality. This kid def listens to r&b and soul. He said at his audition his favorite singer is Aretha Franklin.

Some performers need to walk around because they don't have the voice to captivate attention. Some, like Floor Jansen, have the mastery of their instrument where their voice moves you and you're not focused on their movements. Its true Reid seemed to have a death grip on the Mic stand, but that might just have been his deer in the headlight moment.

I’m going to agree with the other commenters on this one. Just my opinions… He’s a good singer, but I personally don’t think his vocals and tone are good enough to do an Adele song right. I get the impression that you’re just a huge Adele fan and just promoting her by throwing out three of her songs for him that probably wouldn’t be a good fit.

@MrJCLV23 i threw adel out there because his inspiration is aretha franklin. His vocals also carry well for her style of music. Most contestentsa and winners from the past on these shows that are in his category and mention aretha have gone on to do adele songs incredibly well because she leaves alot of room for a soulful talented voice to do a better version of the songs. Her version of those are amazing but they are throttled. As in she doesnt go all the way with every note. She is very poised.

This guy was spot on! He has such an amazing voice and has such a gift! He is definitely a dream chaser and should be very proud for achieving one of them, which was getting the golden buzzer from Howie Mandel. GO, REID! LOVE THAT PERFORMANCE!

I don't know if he deserves to win the show. He would have had a really great performance like Ace, who I LOVE and who left too soon FOR ME and this kid, same thing. With your amazing pipes, bright mind, and beautiful sweet heart, you are already a great artist and story teller. After a lifetime of sweet dogs and cats, we are once again excited to find a dog to welcome into our home. There are so many wonderful rescues out there. Truly a talented family. His brother Riley Tate Wilson was wonderful on the Voice two yeats ago at15 years old ! He has since written a number of songs and opened for Nial Horan. He will have an album under Columbia Records soon. He and brother Reid have different styles, but both are truly talented singers, songwriters and musicians.

A kid who knows what he wants with wisdom and grandeur, without pride. He loves Artha FlanKlin. Only 14 years old, I never use this kind of sentence but there, "a star is born. Voices that I will listen to all day long without getting tired. Rare!!!! His extraordinary performance takes the direction of his black American voices which makes your head spin and your blood churns so much from the inside (Personal opinion). This kid will definitely become a great singer! takes root over several generations

He has my vote! BUT....The song tempo didnt move enough for me. There wasnt much contrast from beginning to end other than what Reid created with his voice. Superstars need song, instrument and audio equipment that doesnt keep them caged. Im sure live it was way way better but online it felt like he was handcuffed by the song choice too much when u factor in there are competitors. If you werent trying to win against others on a show, then absolutely it was perfect. But to beat them, he cant use songs that limit him like this. He carried the whole song by himself. The song tempo and emotion need to add to his talents. Hes a Superstar for sure.
