Best sleight of hand magician on the planet today. And it's not even close. It doesn't even matter if he wins. Shin is the most talented person AGT has had in the past few years. He doesn't need a Champions title next to his name. He's already a legend.

The whole act is amazing slight of hand, but I think the part with Howie's cup is staged. Could be wrong ofcourse but I'm pretty sure those were just duplicate cards. The signature on the card red card that comes out of the cup (6:23) is different than the signature at the start (3:43). Still amazing act, definitely deserves to win.

This coronavirus lockdown made me analyze this video over and over again. For 2 months, I've studied this frame by frame. And now I'm back here commenting because I finally figured it out. Notice when he asked Howie to sign the card? That's the give away. It was at that very moment that I realized I just wasted my time trying to figure this out because this dude is obviously a real sorcerer.

Not to bashing SL as he does great performance, but this time AGT crews were being involved in making the magic happened, which somehow making it worse IMO as it doesn't need any skill at all. For example, the card that Houwi signed is not the same card with on his chair (hint: see the position of the signature), it had been setup before.

The year he won I stayed up past my bedtime just to hear the results. Shin Lim was the one I wanted to win and he did that. Every time I'm mesmerized by his performance. He is one in a million.

Nah, he's good but this wasn't his best performance in my opinion! Alot of his moves were easy to spot this time. Every time a card "disappeared" he was assisted with camera angles as his hand moved to the table to drop them down behind it! He's great! But I think he wasn't as careful for this one

Patrick Wilson You might be right that the finesse wasn't as perfect but just the length and composition of all the little tricks within the card trick on the biggest stage on the biggest night and the twist on the ending. It had everything for a world class performance.

FOR ANYONE WONDERING: The reason why he did roughly the exact same routine as he's done before is because this performance was pre-shot almost directly after he won AGT so he had no time to prep for a new routine. Regardless of anything this act is still absolutely amazing and beautiful. I could watch it over and over, it doesn't get old haha

Been watching reality competition since 2009. I saw lots of great performances from American Idol, America's Got Talent, The X Factor, and The Voice. Never in my whole life in history of watching a reality competition show I have never felt so shocked until this performance. This is literally like literally the best performance that I have ever seen before. And he does look who can play a vampire or a werewolf on Twilight.

@@AstroKitty16 - My favorite fact is logic. A true omnipotent and "perfect" being, would be incapable and UNWILLING to create imperfection. This disproves ALL deities ever named in existence. Nature, disproves the "benevolence" of deities and religion - trees are the best example. Some species of trees can live for hundreds or thousands of years in peaceful existence, just on the heat and light of the sun, and nutrients and moisture from the rain and soil. There is no need for killing ANY living thing to consume in order to continue it's lifespan. Meanwhile, we were created in "God's" image?! Laughable, pathetic, and preposterous!

2:15 you can see he puts the card with all the others and replaces it with another. I saw it the first time and noticed it and its the first time ever he failed to trick me. In my opinion, he shouldn't have won.

If u slow the speed down to .25 u can see a lot of the stuff he doing.. And u can see terri's signature isnt the same on those othe 2's he pulled out his back pocket or his left hand.. Pay attention to his left arm wen he turns around n watch his head tilt down. U can see his left arm moving as if he folding terri's real card n putting it in his mouth. The card in his right hand is the miss direction. He wants u to pay attention to the right hand so u dont see wtf hes doin lol.. Wen he turns around u can tell he already got the card in his mouth lol.. Hes good but i hope angelica hale wins

It seems that's exactly what he did. Besides a few explainable tricks the rest looks supernatural. And be sure that God is not part of any magical games. So it leaves the Devil and the other fallen angels, now the demons, to help him. In Old Testament time ho would have been stoned to death right away. - Darci should be the winner, she had a never-heard God-given talent as a fantastic singer-ventriloquist- entertainer with a sweet humor and a charming stage present rolled in one.

Dream is his favorite act. I had a feeling he was going to do Dream with a twist. The 10 of spades under Howie. Then on his chest. Then in the cup. This act can have so many layers and it’s why IMO Shin Lim is going to win the whole thing and should. As a magician, his creativity is astonishing. I am thankful he came along bc it’s only pushed me to perfect my craft...and rethink going on this show unless I can come up with some things never seen. Might be a WHILE bc any magician raving Shin or following him is like following Michael Jackson as a pop performer. 👏🏻 Shin!

WHO could've seen "the cup twist" coming??? This was exceptional. Sure, it's a routine he's performed many times before but the 2 "twists" (the other sending Howie's card under his butt) were freakin' brilliant!!! By the way, did anyone else noticed that the card Terry picked was the EXACT same card Tyra picked when she was in this routine last season??? It doesn't matter how many times I watch him perform, I just think he's seriously slick & cool ✊️😎👍

What i find even more amazing is this performance is similar in effect and presentation to the performance he did on Penn and Teller Fool Us, the show which made him semi famous before AGT. He does the same whenever he shows the Queen of Spades Tattoo in his previous tricks.
