Angel Estrada there are 3 quarter finals shows and in each, 7 go through to the semifinals. That’s 21 acts and the semis consist of 2 shows of 11 acts. One show consists of 11 of the 21 acts America voted through. The other show consists of 10 acts America put through and one wild card chosen collectively by the judges. That act earns the right to re enter the competition with a 1/22 shot at the million dollar prize and the headline show in Las Vegas
