I remember the first time Special Head was on AGT, his act flopped spectacularly and everyone could see the platforms he was sitting on. He's improved a lot since then.

A much better rendition of an age-old levitation where an apparatus worn under his robe is connected to the stick. Here in real time he had to make the connections, and he has to use the strength of his lower body.

@@mh-ht2fp I think talent is real, and passing off a simple trick that requires you to sit in a chair attached to a staff hidden under a robe ain't quite it. (if you watch right during the smoke you can clearly see him unattach the staff from the base holding it in place) A common well known trick but the judges might not have known that at round one. But I'm surprised they sent him through round two considering it was more of the same, I think they misjudged

His baggy clothes hide a metal harness connecting to his walking stick. The rug has a frame that he connects with his walk stick. The smoke at the end was meant to conceal him disconnecting the stick off the floor.

The pressure waves required to keep a human up in the air would definitely be noticeable lol and possibly blow out the person's eardrums... His staff connects into a steel plate under the carpet and he has scaffolding going up his sleeve and into his robes, and a collapsible platform that he sits on under the robes. Street performers everywhere do this.

I will tell you how. Imagine that he would say what he thinks and knows certainly super well - that this guy has detouchable scaffolding attached to a platform under the carpet and that people could see this circus trick on the streets of popular cities possibly since middle ages. His job is to be dishonest and act as if it was authentic. And he is really good at that.
