I just found this song. I was with my mother when she passed. I thought I was being strong as she passed, but right as she passed I started crying and begging her not to go. This brought back that memory.

I had to send it to myself to play later and saved it. It really made me cry my eyes out. In 2000 my son died from a seizure in his sleep. He died 2 weeks before his 2nd birthday. The hardest thing I've EVER gone thru. 2023 my grandma passed away, last year my Dad passed away from cancer and now my favorite Uncle (my mom's brother) has cancer and will be dying this year. He was told he will live 3-6 months. So yeah this hit me hard. It's a very beautiful song and well written.

( paraphrasing, ofc..bc idk the exact lines , of how it goes )..." I lay you close down on my chest...cause I know how , to hold you best " ... man , when she sang that line , I totally lost it. Now, here's the kicker...I don't really know the why...
