It took place in one place, however, he had a device with him that consisted in part of light emitting diodes, which were stimulated by a current to emit light that when viewed as a whole showed pictures of other places.

i think your math is wrong there. i have no idea what you are doing. lets assume there are approximately 10 locations (I'm not sure). YOU LITERALLY do 5 TIMES 10. THAT IS 50 VIDEOS. im guessing you are trying to use permutations and combinations but obviously you have no idea how to use them

@Farai Togie... as a programmer, YOU SIR are the fool. Your disbelief is exactly what makes this trick so effective: 1. Notice he chose a handful of particular cities, reducing travel (for example 1 trip to Italy gave him 3 monuments: 2 in Rome, 1 in Pisa) or...("Heidi.. New York, for the statue of liberty OR...?") 2. Let's say, 6 locations... 3 monuments each. That's 18 monuments. All he needs to do is record a 5 second clip for 4 judges at each place. That's roughly 20 seconds x 18 = 360 seconds. So 6 minutes of his time, recording. 3. Videos labeled specifically Simon1/2/3/4/5/6... Heidi1/2/3/4/5/6... etc. The specific video order is set in step 4... 4. The bar code on the ticket enabled a camera feature on the phone to go play a web address containing the videos. Just as fast as you can update, say your FOOLED Facebook status, he has someone update the string of videos (their order) at that web address.

That wasn't the ordinary camera app, but a bar code reader. From there, it is one other person in on it like explained, just arranging them in order on the page the app called up. quick pre-coded language, drag and drop, hence the stall between Howie and when he holds up the camera. Continuity error: Close-up at the start of the phone being held up, his hands are empty, no ticket. Cut to zoom-out, ticket magically appears in hand. plan on adding 10-15 seconds to the stalling time which was cut out in post production, helping the illusion seem that much more incredible.

Heidi and Mel were somewhat forced choices. Heidi said New York, but that could have been the Empire state building, 1 World Trade Center, anything. He only recorded at the Statue of Liberty. With Mel, he gives her a choice: One that seems so obvious (Colosseum) or one the planted choice, the fountain. He only recorded at the fountain.

I don't think they know how cameras work... (I am majoring in Computer Science, so I know what I am talking about) 1. You can't use your default camera to run a video 2. The video crop was larger than the card that he was holding 3. Where did he store the set of videos? As if scan a barcode it won't run a video no matter what... America's Got Talent just a shittie staged show...

Mazen Alotaibi He most likely imitated the camera interface on a website and made the judge visit the website. Earlier in the beginning you can see one of the audience's phones with the safari web link design in the top. iOS has no functionality to do AR like that. The only way was, a built a custom app or visited a website.
