Creator and Executive Producer Simon Cowell returns to the judges' panel along with Howie Mandel. Also joining the panel this year are two fresh faces - award-winning actress, author and producer Gabrielle Union and Emmy Award-winning choreographer, actress, singer and dancer Julianne Hough. Terry Crews, who made a big splash as the host of the inaugural series "America's Got Talent: The Champions" earlier this year, joins as host for "America's Got Talent." With the show open to acts of all ages, "America's Got Talent" continues to celebrate the variety format like no other show on television. Year after year, "America's Got Talent" features a colorful array of singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, magicians, ventriloquists and hopeful stars, all vying to win America's hearts and a $1 million prize.

the more times you watch Sethward's performances, *and* interviews before the performances, the more you can start to truly appreciate him. he's an utterly pure troll -- but not a malicious one. he's hilarious and he *never* breaks character. ironically, he's one of the best talents on this show. 10/10

buzzer just prop. some one else has control over the real button, and they press it when they press the prop one.

@@MindlessTube I never thought about that, actually. It makes a little bit of sense, but I still think there is an electrical connection involved that triggers the gold X's. I think you are half-way close. I think that the buzzer isn't a prop, that it's a real buzzer, but that when they do the tapings there's a single PA whose job it is to release the confetti. Or a Union stagehand up in the catwalk, maybe. Sweet gig that one. You don't really have to do anything except wait for a cue, which may never come for the entire three-day taping.

cainster the four buzzers are DMX controllers that control the red X’s. The golden buzzer is a prob that has a lighting sequence queued backstage they queue when it’s actually intended
