Could be that something went wrong in the last trick (like making something materialize while the sand was obscuring sight) but he sensed it would fail and just let it fizzle out.

This is an act that I would pay money to go and see headline In Las Vegas, Something so small but managed to be executed so beautifully and so elegantly at the same time it's everything I look for in an act like this. So far he is the best magician this season

Wow! This included some magic I’ve seen magicians do in a look-what-I-can-do style, while this man shifts it to make the sand itself look magical. It was like CGI with the appearance of your ring. Your skill is staggering.

I have to be completely homest here, I was not expecting that. When I saw the title, I was expecting some type of sand art like in a previous season. This is unbelievable. I loved this. I was in awe the entire time. I cannot wait to watch this on tv tonight. I love AGT! I have never ever seen anything like this act before. This is mind blowimg.

That was the best act of season 19 so far! Music choice, the show of emotion. Clearly everything is happening from your sleeve, but the presentation was spectacular. Loved it and i hope that Simon's comments takes him to do something the same but more spectacular

Okay guys,so yes,a common type of magic yes yes,but what made it unique? It's the way he performed it,it's just so magical and so creative,you are entertained it a way of bringing you into the world of magic, it's just so aesthetically pleasing that it would want you to watch more. I would love to see more concept like this one,not the typical magic where music is just common and asking peeps to join and all so yeah.

Young-Min.....You are such a phenom at what you do and there has never been any kind of magic act with sand. Your first performance on AGT was simply mind-blowing and had everyone in the audience,as well as the judges,in amazement at what you were doing with all of that sand and glitter also. I've always had a thing for magic growing up and i'm rooting for you to win this season. I just think that you are too talented not to be the winner this season and don't worry about what simon said,that he wasn't "Mesmerized" by your magic act because he had a smile the whole time that you were performing, You got this and i can't wait to see what kind of grand illusion you come up with for your 2nd performance. A fan forever !!!

Simon is such a bellend. The amount of work that has gone into an act like this is incredible. Years and years of refinement right down to the timing of eye contact and it shows. This was a really beautiful performance and Simon's comment was : i was expecting something big to happen. He sits there looking at endless acts and i think he is so accustomed to these big grand performances that he always fails to appreciate the beauty of the more subtle performances which in many ways are often more beautiful. Far more work has gone into an act like this than most of the big illusions that Simon is impressed by and there is way less margin for error. Fantastic work Young Min. This made me tear up. It was simply beautiful.

I agree with all the judges, including Simon. He clearly sees this guy's potential, and I think he knows that we were just being teased and that something phenomenal will come from him. This performance was more "Oooh, aaaahhh!" and less "HOLY CRAP! WOW!", but I feel like that moment will come if he's able to be in the competition long enough.
