Her voice is better than the average. This is not saying much since the average voice is dreadful. Nothing about her voice is "special". She can carry a tune. So what. There are tens of thousands in the US who can. Since her act was preplanned, it was no doubt autotuned.

This was a set-up. All preplanned and rehearsed. You were played for a fool. No doubt not the first time. Time to grow up. Unless you ten years old or younger.

You guys are so NAIVE. These "narratives" are scripted by the producers well in advance. Get this: The song sung by the singer on stage is RARELY the song they came in with. The singer and producer work together to choose the best song that suits their voice. It is a long process that takes time. Sometimes singers are asked to LEARN a new song and try to see if it could be their best song. BUT of course, if the same process repeats on stage a 1000 times (singer comes on stage, sings great song, greatly impresses judges), the process loses its uniqueness after a while. So to "keep things fresh" producers resort to this from time to time. The contestant (who does NOT QUITE know the con) is asked to choose a song they are not quite comfortable in as their first choice, and their BEST SONG as their second choice. SIMON IS TOLD OF THIS IN ADVANCE. And then the same process repeats. It's happened a 100 times and will keep happening.

Mel B is the WORST judge in the history of any talent show. It seems like everyone who has more talent than her, she gets jealous and then says no. She has great natural talent and a unique voice. If she's only been pursuing singing for a year or so, I think more experience will make a world of difference. Mel was clearly brought to the show for conflict purposes because she does it well. As for this girl and her audition....WOW, this girls voice is beautiful and you see and here her passion and to come out and sing and handle stoppage and take critique like a champion was amazing.
