Simon did not give him a second chance. The producers did. Stop this second chance for singer. Other types of act do not get a second change. Simon should be assumed for letting the producers talk him in to this second chance thing.

I saw this guy perform at a cabaret show at a nightclub called Mangoes in Miami. This guy was incredible! He had the kind of energy that made me get up and dance!

This is what has always made this country so great. The diversity and welcoming other languages to entertain us. I didn't understand a word he sang but I still loved it because he for sure has talent!

Simon understood how difficult it is to be told to sing another song you are not familiar with. As a singer myself, another language u are not familiar with is almost impossible, Dian nailed it.

Yeah, it's obvious that he wasn't used to singing in English. At least, for a song that he knows in Spanish at first but has to learn its English version in one night. Even a song that you know by heart would feel like a different song in another language.

He’s amazing. At first, I thought he reminded me a lot of Marc Anthony, but then on his second performance, he reminded me of a blend between Mark Anthony and Ricky Martin.

if you closed your eyes I promise you the only two male Latin entertainers you know wouldn't have crossed your mind. it shows more about your narrow vision and lack of exposure to other cultures and traditions. Let him be himself. why do you need to stereotype and pigeon hole someone? Everyone is an individual.

That didn't even sound like the same person between the first and the second audition. Goes to show you that the judges are pros for a reason. Simon wasn't hearing anything special on the first one and called him out kindly. The second one was waaaaaay better. No body would have heard THAT in the first one. Whew! Way to go judges and nice singing señor!

Not just true to their language, but by extension, true to themselves. Something a lot of talent shows, especially this one, seems to conveniently forget after the initial great and "authentic" auditions.

I love the second performance! The first song didn't do him any favours as English is not his first language. I’m so glad Simon gave him another opportunity to learn another song in Spanish so he can audition properly! Also, he could give Pit Bull a run for his money with those dance moves!

There are singers who can sing a song in foreign languages and who can’t. But that doesn’t decide the worth of a singer. Whoever suggested him to sing in English, they must have not known even if the language in singing is foreign, the feeling that a singer brings is infectious, especially with a excellent singer like him.
