you think it was done live? I think they created a flight simulation and for the audition they only had to pressed the ''play'' button so to speak, and the drone would arrange themselves automatically.

I think this season of AGT is bringing back the interest for me. Every golden buzzer so far has been for regular people without sob stories, and with unique acts (other than Richard but let’s be completely real here, he 1000% deserved it), and I think that’s what the show should be about in the first place. Ordinary, regular people getting that American dream life change. I think this season is going to revive the show for a lot of people judging by how different and deserving the golden buzzers have been.

i would like to believe this is true; however, i still see a lot of singing contestants going through and winning the golden buzzer. I love agt but it's getting repetitive. i can see this group going far but will they have a chance to win among the crowd of singers, we shall see.

Well this post didn’t age well. Their semifinal shows about the death of one of their daughters, AND airing on 9/11, I was bawling. And Simon literally had no words. I hope they win.

Drones have been used like this or for other artistic elements like video and photography for years. The drone show at the Olympics made this one look amateur at best

Someone please tell me why I tear up everytime I watch this performance. So beautiful. You can tell how much this meant to the team to do and share something so extraordinary. @@jacobrobles9176 yes, they maintained the quadcopters, set them up, prepared animations, graphics and characters to sync with music, and it took them weeks to do it. They made a cool thing and it's still a live show. It's not like they coded an app for everyone to download and sell them a product. They coded art

I thought that as well and it's best to have critical thinking, especially in regard to scams and cults! I still get emotional whenever the judges push the golden buzzer though. ☺

Well, doesn’t it stand to reason that they’d have a golden buzzer ready for them just in case? These contestants come a few weeks ahead of the show to prepare for their performances. They have to make certain that their music, sound systems, stage props, etc. are set to go. So, no… it’s not some sort of extraordinary coincidence. It’s a well prepared program that showcases talent. It’s not “scripted,” so you don’t need to employ critical thinking for AGT, but for God’s sake, please, do employ critical thinking at the ballot box in November. It’s a shame that paranoia has crept into all the wrong places, yet critical thinking is in such short supply in all the right ones.

The men doing the drone show would need to have hours at least to get this ready. Obviously the crew behind the scenes knew about it and put the buzzer there so that they would be able to have a chance for it as well as any other contestants would. It's not strange at all.

I can't even imagine all the work it took to put this together. All the programming for the drones to work within a perspective area, managing drone maintenance and timing it to the music had to be precise. Awesome......

I saw a drone show in Waco, TX, the night before the solar eclipse. For all I know, these guys may have put it on. It was mind-blowing. No noise. No accidents. It was all about TX and /or the solar eclipse with all the songs having the sun in it like; Here Comes The Sun, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me, Sunny Days and also Pink Floyd's See You On The Darkside Of The Moon. It definitely choked me up. These guys on this show did an amazing job. Truly have a dream job and great talent. I'm so glad that Simon gave them the Golden Buzzer 🎉 I'm sure we'll all be seeing drone shows before too long.

i was there when they did the show on March 25th 2024. We stayed for the 2nd show of the day for the night filming of the Drone show. I actually show up in the crowd shots. It was the neatest show I have ever seen. Glad I stayed. Watching it live is fantastic. Never forget this. Great job by the drone team. Gold buzzer!! Hope they win it all. Best show I have seen on AGT.

Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade is in the morning from 9 a.m. to noon on Thanksgiving Day- they have floats and marching bands and balloons but never fireworks due to the time on Thanksgiving.

Being in a generation where our heads are constantly looking down at our phones, this was so magical. Drone shows over NYC are illegal, sorry. There are other parts of the US that regulate drone flying.

@@larrycj4382 The NYC City Council could change the laws and allow drone shows on a permit basis. I am sure if Macy's decided to use drones, the City Council would change the laws. Permits can be issued for very special events such as Macy's 4th of July Show. I have been to 4 of the shows and it was expensive since I paid for yacht tickets. A drone show would be seen further away, not just near the water.

I live in Dallas Fort Worth. Sky Elements have been doing shows for at least 7 years at our area's special events. The first time we saw it was incredible, though kind of simple like morphing shapes. The second time they were to perform it didn't go as planned and they held it the next day, lol. Kind of lost its luster, but all has gone as planned since and the shows keep getting better and better. It has been a privilege to watch them grow.

This is absolutely amazing! One of the coolest things I've ever seen. I hope I get to see a drone show live one day, that's better than any singer, band, fireworks show, dance, magician... it beats everything!

😊I am 74 years old. I am so happy I can close my eyes and go back in the past remembering when i was young. I loved to club and dance and dance until it closed. Loves have come and gone. They are just great memories bought back to me. Wish i could return .

Best golden buzzer I have ever seen in years of watching all the got talent shows. Now that is something I would actually go pay money to see in Vegas or anywhere they toured with their show. Truly spectacular performance.

There is no such thing…they have to keep people interested by twisting their made up set of rules and pretend like they don’t recruit for this scripted show.

Oh my the amount of coding it takes to create an image from individual flying machines is incredible wow 😮 stunning its such a versatile act, new years day Christmas, opening ceremonies of any sport concert Coachella, inaugurations, national holidays , fourth of July, almost anything and it looks awesome.
