Well actually all he has to do is develop it further and you have a million dollar act, just like Heidi you told him, he callie do other things. The baton twirling and his aura was plenty enough though. This is one of my favorites for real. I understand as a former twirler how this performance could look easy to some twirlers who are at the same levels. BUT I am astonished at how he was able to do all that ON STAGE! I have performed on a stage at school a few times and i confirm that it’s very difficult with the lightnings, the crowd… heck, it’s just hard to even SEE your baton when it’s in the air in this dimmed space! So of course i would go for a much simpler routine with just a few tricks here and there, avoid doing spins and risky moves at all costs in fear of either accidentally throwing my baton too high and hit the settings or idk.. accidentally sending a baton flying right onto the judges’ faces… The fact he did advanced tricks, made it look smooth and easy and NO DROPS!! Imagine how incredible he must be when performing during competitions in the right environment! 🎉

I was a majorette (another name for baton twirlers here in the UK) for just over 5 years, I left due to weight gain from medication & being bullied by members of the public during carnivals & displays. I’ll be 36 this year, I left when I was 12 1/2, & I still miss it to this day. I put my all into majorettes due to a difficult home life, it was my escape. I was so proud to have won 1st prize trophies at comps for my troupe (I still remember crying that day thinking how terrible I’d performed!), I was so proud to be apart of my little troupe, to make friends / peers look in awe at ‘such a talent’ as I try to teach them how to use a baton at school. I wish, even now, that majorettes / baton twirlers were more recognised for their sport. I hope it never dies out, but I feel it’s becoming less popular (at least here in the UK) & that breaks my heart. I don’t think people realise just how hard baton twirlers work, the hours upon hours of dedicated training, the flexibility, the mix of dance / gymnastics / performing arts, keeping a smile on your face throughout regardless of exhaustion. And yet.. we never complained, we love every minute of it! I’m so glad lovely people like this are there to try & put it more on the map, especially for men / boys! Wishing him lots of love, blessings, & all the happiness in the world 🥰 dx
